DESCRIPTION:The Spring Wine Expo offers tastings by small independent wine makers from all over France. The 100+ award-winning Wine Makers will display and discuss their wines coming from all regions\, cépages\, and types of wine – including Bio and Champagne producers. The salon will continue across three days: March 6\, 7\, and 8. \nAt the salon\, wine makers will offer both tastings and direct sales for those interested. You can find more information regarding this event on their official site. \nACL Wine Lovers can visit the expo together on Saturday\, March 7\, share their approaches to the Salon\, and compare their discoveries. Members who enjoy wine but do not (yet!) know wine well are very welcome to enjoy the tastings and build their knowledge of French wines. The expo will be followed by a lunch at the wine expo. \nThe entry fee for the salon is €6.    For those who want to come\,  free entry passes are readily available from winemakers who will be attending the event.   ACL Members who sign up will be provided a link to sign up for a free pass. \nThe Euroexpo Lyon can be easily reached by Metro+Tram\, by TCL Bus\, or by Car. \nMore details about the salon\, the free passes\, the travel options\, and the meeting point at the Expo will be shared with those who sign up. \nHost: Mark Gallops

DESCRIPTION:With Phil Levanthal as your guide\, members will visit four chocolate shops across the center of Lyon. At the end\, you will savor your chocolates over an ACL-sponsored beverage and vote on the winners for the best chocolate shop of the day! \nTo participate\, you will need to be in condition to spend several hours on your feet. The total distance covered will be about 3km. DESCRIPTION:Join us for this yearly tradition where the hunt for chocolate is on! Our egg hunt will be in the Parc de la Tete d’Or. \nThis is a member event. Non-member children may come as a guest of a member for a 5€ fee per child which can be paid upon arrival at the event. \nIf you would like to help us organize this event\, please contact us at events@americanclublyon.org or reach out on the ACL Parents WhatsApp Group. We will need some parents or older children to help us with hiding the chocolate before the event starts. So if you are available to arrive before to help\, please let us know! \nIf the weather is nice\, we’ll hang out at the park after the egg hunt. You may want to bring some snacks!
