Embedded content from other websites

Posts on the website may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). If any embedded content from other websites is included in a post, it will behave in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These other websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website. (for example, if a YouTube video is embedded in a post, playing that video on our website may cause that video to then appear in your YouTube History.)

Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a service which transmits website traffic data to Google servers in the United States. Google Analytics does not identify individual users or associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. We use reports provided by Google Analytics to help us understand website traffic and webpage usage.

Sharing personal data

We do not sell, lease, or rent your personal data to third parties unless otherwise stated below. We may share your data with third parties who provide services on our behalf. All our third-party service providers are required to take appropriate security measures to protect your data in line with our policies. We do not allow them to use your data for their own purposes.

We will share your personal data if we are required to do so by law or by a regulatory authority. For example, we may have to share your personal data for the detection or prevention of crime or to allow a regulator to investigate a complaint submitted to them.

We will share your personal data if we need to do so to protect our interests, such as to enforce the terms of a contract, pursue an overdue debt or defend our legal rights.

How long we retain your data

For users who register on our website, we store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their own personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. At any time, registered website users may remove their personal information that is stored on web servers or ask a website administrator to remove their information via the contact page.

What rights you have over your data
