Over 200 ACL members gathered at the Salle des Fêtes de la Garenne this past Saturday to celebrate Thanksgiving together. US Consul Molly Mayfield Barbee opened the afternoon with welcoming remarks before members sat down to a true potluck feast.
While Maison Baraban provided the delicious roast turkey and herbed potatoes, members brought an incredible spread of side dishes and desserts that transformed the hall into a proper Thanksgiving celebration. From traditional favorites to creative new dishes, the tables overflowed with the contributions of our community.
This celebration wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our volunteer members who organized, set up, and broke down the entire event. From coordinating the logistics to decorating the salle and manning the kids’ activities, volunteers worked tirelessly to create a warm, festive atmosphere where everyone could gather and give thanks.
To all our members—thank you. Thank you for bringing dishes, for volunteering your time, for showing up, and for making ACL the vibrant community it is. Events like this remind us what we’re most grateful for: each other.
